Molnlycke is seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to lead our Prevention portfolio.

In this role, you'll provide marketing strategy and tools to the company's sales force in order to increase market share and profitability, and expand into new market segments. You'll be responsible for product-life-cycle management and realization of financial targets. As a Marketing Manager, you'll develop and implement marketing and selling strategies for new and existing brands / products, as well as provide brand input for development and implementation of advertising, promotion, and public relations campaigns by outside agencies. You'll coordinate exhibit booth and plan convention schedules based on target markets. The Marketing Manager assists in training the sales force on new and existing brand / product lines, participates / leads product development projects, and develops relationships with potential product suppliers / manufacturers and key opinion leaders (KOLs). Responsibilities include conducting analysis relating to product licenses or acquisition opportunities, championing new product development, and performing all the market and economic analysis related to new product development and / or modification to existing products. You'll prepare marketing plans, business reviews, budgets and forecasts

Key Accountabilities

* Prepare and implement marketing plans to promote brands/products; create presentations and promotions of brands/products for the sales force and customers; manage and analyze customer base for opportunities; establish brand/product prices by analyzing and incorporating established profit margins and costs for materials, packaging, labor, and shipping; prepare and analyze forecasts by evaluating brand/product demand; assist in the creation of long-term business plans and product development

* Develop and maintains budget for the assigned product brand; develop projected monthly sales for each brand/product by incorporating selling history, expected seasonal changes, competitor market share, and brand/product availability; develop clinical and technical support to defend marketing claims ; create training materials and train sales force; develop budget projections for marketing[1]related costs by gauging sales & manufacturing forecasts; incorporate planned marketing activities; lead cross-functional team; provide brand input and direction for promotional activities

* Develop and implement strategic plans for new and existing brands/products which requires analyzing volume and gross profit projections, targets, and trends for the market; develop proposals to enable operational sales planning; coordinate with sales leaders on brand strategies and tactics; coordinate performance of competitive analysis in order to position product(s); coordinate & monitor development and implementation of product development projects; ensure timelines for projects and budgets align with overall brand strategy and delivers appropriate margins; ensure work performed abides by established business plans, marketing strategies, and budgets, & meets objectives for brand presentation and recognition; establish and maintain a network of KOLs; suggest and perform feasibility studies of ideas and products

* Give marketing insight into new product evaluation; be an active member of the Category Team, which is a cross-functional development, strategic and commercialization team that defines and executes new product development activities to ensure commercial readiness, worldwide regulatory filings and approvals, marketing global strategic alignment, global brand positioning, global pricing strategy, and global strategic development; assist in gathering specific information on competitors (pricing, mailings, product features); compare actual sales totals with forecasts and recommend changes to marketing strategies to correct variances; review marketing trends and developments; attend appropriate trade shows and industry meetings; work with Clinical Research team to initiate studies to support marketing claims

* Frequent communication with Regulatory and Legal to ensure existing and new products labels, claims, and marketing literature are all in compliance with industry and company standards

Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Business, or Marketing from accredited college / university; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years healthcare experience including in[1]depth knowledge of marketing strategies, brand management, forecasting techniques, and profit and loss (P&L) analysis
  • Candidates should have experience in the sale marketing arena of the healthcare industry, preferably medical devices
