You Are:

You are a dynamic and experienced Sales Account Manager with a proven track record in technical selling, particularly within the automotive industry. With over 5 years of experience, you possess strong business development skills and have a history of successfully developing and closing business opportunities. Your deep understanding of automotive software development, system testing, and the market transition to software-defined vehicles positions you as a valuable asset to our team.

Possessing strong connections within automotive Tier1 and OEMs, you have the ability to grasp complex technical data and effectively communicate it to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your knowledge of OEM/Tier1 automotive ECU and vehicle electronics development processes, as well as software CI/CD development flows, underscores your technical prowess. Your experience in vehicle networking and test system design/development further enhances your capability to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.

With a Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a comparable field, you are equipped with the technical foundation necessary to excel in this role. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to interact seamlessly with customers' engineering and business staff at all levels, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Managing the sales of Synopsys' Virtual Prototyping portfolio to support European customers in developing software-defined systems, such as Software Defined Vehicles (SDV).
  • Driving pipeline, forecast, and booking/revenue results.
  • Developing and implementing a multi-year product sales strategy for Virtual Prototyping solutions in assigned regions and accounts.
  • Creating and executing business development plans to meet product line and sales goals.
  • Managing and expanding business with key automotive OEM/Tier 1 customers by identifying needs and collaborating with internal teams to address them.
  • Initiating regular customer contact to understand their goals, challenges, and requirements for software development, system testing, and SDV initiatives.
  • Identifying market potential by qualifying customers and expanding sales in existing accounts by introducing new products, processes, and services.
  • Contributing to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and providing feedback from customers.
  • Gathering and assessing customer input from the field and key accounts.
  • Collaborating with product and business management teams to ensure differentiated product offerings are available for customers in your territory.

What You'll Need:
  • Over 5 years of related experience in technical selling, field applications engineering, and/or sales management.
  • Proven business development skills with a history of developing and closing business opportunities.
  • Strong connections within the automotive Tier1 and OEM sectors.
  • A working knowledge of automotive software development, system testing, and the transition to software-defined vehicles.
  • The ability to grasp complex technical data and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of OEM/Tier1 automotive ECU and vehicle electronics development processes.
  • Strong awareness of software CI/CD development flows and system design knowledge.
  • Experience or awareness in vehicle networking and test system design/development.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a comparable field.
