OverviewCopilot in the Microsoft Advertising Platform is an AI Companion which helps advertisers set up and troubleshoot their campaigns, generate high performing creatives (text, image and video), and answer any questions that they have. We are a fast-moving team of engineers and applied scientists leveraging the latest Generative AI technology to build these tools.We are looking for a Principal Applied Science Manager to lead the Asset Generation team. You will work with applied scientists and engineers to train and fine-tune generative models to facilitate creation and editing of text, image and video assets for advertisers, utilizing third-party technology where appropriate. ResponsibilitiesStay up to date on the latest advances in Generative AI techniques for image and video creation and editing.Collaborate with product managers to understand the business requirements for asset generation.Design metrics to evaluate the performance of each component of the asset generation pipelineLead a team of engineers and applied scientists to train and/or fine-tune generative models to create and edit ad campaign assets.Evaluate third-party models and tools for asset generation and integrate them into our pipeline.Hire new team members and uplevel the existing talent on the team. | |
