Position Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead our organization's learning strategy and talent development initiatives across Lindt USA. This strategic role will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive learning programs that drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop our workforce capabilities in alignment with business objectives. Working closely with senior leadership, this role will shape the company's learning culture and drive talent development initiatives that support business transformation and growth. This is a hybrid role that requires three days per week in our Stratham, NH corporate office.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Design:
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to develop, articulate, and execute the development strategy to ensure we have the right skills to meet the demands of the future workforce.
- Develop and enhance learning strategies leveraging appropriate learning content, technologies, and development approaches, including aligning work with Lindt's Talent Management Architecture, and other workforce sustainability efforts.
- Leverage analytics, and other innovative approaches to deeply understand the business and development needs to design and deliver trainings.
- Partner with HR business partners and leaders to assess learning gaps and design short and long-term learning solutions to optimize employee success.
- Design learning and development curriculum and materials that deliver measurable business impact and meaningful career development for employees.
Training & Development:
- Project Manage end-to-end training initiates and ensures all deliverables meet expectations including brand alignment, high-quality, and execution timelines.
- Leverages design thinking, learning needs analysis expertise, workforce analytics, and other innovative approaches to deeply understand the business and development needs to drive transparency around progress.
- Facilitates training in such a way that attendees are engaged and motivated to incorporate learning into their day-to-day.
- Follow-up with employees through coaching conversations and providing tools and resources they can use to apply knowledge gained.
- Oversee and facilitate professional development programs such as the Lindt Mentoring program, Management Essentials (Talent Management, Career Pathing, Recruitment Workshop) and Leadership development programs.
- Create, develop and support change management for projects and initiatives across the business.
- Responsible for coordination of 3rd party experts and or subject matter experts related to specific training or development needs.
- Oversee Learning Management System (LMS) management and maintenance to ensure training tools and resources are available on-demand.
- Collaborate with Learning & Training Manager who oversees Manufacturing training activities to ensure consistency in strategy and messaging
Measure:
- Monitors, measures, and evaluates the effectiveness of programs to ensure objectives continuously meet business needs and promote organizational efficiency
- Collect and report on LinkedIn Learning training and performance metrics regularly, in partnership with other Lindt & Sprungli subsidiary North American brands.
- Leverage data from LMS and LinkedIn Learning to inform strategy and trainings.
Qualifications & Requirements: Skills & Knowledge:
- 5-8 years of progressive experience as a learning & development practitioner.
- 2+ years of leadership experience preferred
- Strong Project Management skills
- Strong knowledge of training and organizational development theories, learning styles, and learning needs
- Knowledge of training and organizational development theories, and instructional design models, such as ADDIE and e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM and AICC).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and training authoring tools.
- Certified Change Management Practitioner preferred.
- Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience designing, developing, and evaluating talent and leadership development programs
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, confidence in facilitating engaging training sessions
- Outstanding attention to detail and quantitative/qualitative analysis skills
- Leadership and collaborative skills with ability to build trust and credibility and create productive business relationships across the organization.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, Instructional Design, or similar related discipline. Master's in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design is a plus.
