What You'll Do in This Position

The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing.

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy intern to join our team as a Microsoft SharePoint Developer/Builder. This role offers hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint solutions to enhance business collaboration and workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

*Assist in the design and development of SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists.
*Customize and configure SharePoint features to meet organizational needs.
*Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
*Support the integration of third-party tools and applications into SharePoint.
*Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
*Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint structures and workflows.

Support to develop a Microsoft SharePoint and Potential Websites

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications We Require

Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program.

Must have completed freshman year of college.

*Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related business systems field.
*Basic understanding of Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365.
*Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
*Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing.

Qualifications We Desire

Experience or training with Microsoft SharePoint
Web development experience or training with Web Development Technology
