Georgia Tech Commercialization plays a vital role in transforming the university's groundbreaking research into impactful real-world solutions. It operates through four key units: CREATE-X: Empowers student entrepreneurship through mentorship, experiential learning, and startup creation. VentureLab: Supports faculty and staff in launching startups based on innovative research and technologies. Quadrant-i (Q-i): Focuses on accelerating the commercialization of Georgia Tech's intellectual property through startups and spinouts. Technology Licensing: Facilitates partnerships and licensing agreements to bring technologies to market effectively. Together, these units foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and impactful commercialization efforts. Job Summary
The Event Coordinator III will play a crucial role in the operation of internal and campus group facility reservations and assist with external events as needed. This position is responsible for the management of indoor and outdoor recreation spaces related to events, working with on campus entities, coordinating all event logistics including audio and video (A/V), entertainment, security, custodial, catering, etc. Ideally, this new position will include supervisory responsibilities, at least over student staff, and will involve financial duties such as managing P-Card transactions, making purchases, handling reconciliations, and monitoring event budgets. Job Grade: A8 Salary Range or Pay Range: $55,029.00 to $74,841.00 Salary will be commensurate with experience and education Due to the responsibilities of this position, this role requires an onsite presence on Georgia Techs Atlanta campus (100%). Location: Atlanta, GA |
