Corporate Planning Analytics and Digital Transformation, Vice President - US

Aon is looking for a Corporate Planning Analytics and Digital Transformation Vice President who will be responsible for supporting the execution of the firm's strategic objectives by enhancing firmwide reporting, planning and analysis through the development of a digital transformation agenda leveraging industry best practices in data management techniques, reporting processes & tools, and driving next level financial insights.

What will your role look like?

  • You will report to Head of Corporate Planning & Analytics
  • Support the streamlining of business planning and results analysis by creating and driving adoption of a digital transformation agenda which will lead to greater efficiency and effectiveness of workflow and financial outcomes
  • Improve processes to capture financial results, oversee the collection, processing and analysis of financial data to identify business trends and opportunities
  • Institute investment optimization by developing and implementing analytical models and methodologies to analyze investment performance and optimize investment strategies
  • Implement best practices in data analysis, visualization, infographics and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for strategic decision-making
  • Develop revenue and cost models that facilitate scenario planning and decision-making
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing strategies and initiatives, developing recommendations for improvements
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and executive teams
  • Stay updated on industry developments, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's strategic direction
  • Develop industry and competitive insights that drive competitive advantage and market leading growth
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the corporate planning function

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 10+ years proven experience in a financial modelling and analysis, strategy or related roles
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement analytical models and methodologies to analyse investment performance and optimize investment strategies
  • Experience in best in class data analysis, visualization and reporting tools and capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for strategic decision-making
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $160,000 - $270,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon's discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance. This role does not accrue vacation. Rather, this role is eligible to take paid time off at the discretion of the employee and management in accordance with Company policy and practices.
