Responsibilities Available Environmental Services Opportunities: Environmental Associate As an Environmental Associate, your job responsibilities and performance expectations are intended to reflect the high level of care and customer service provided by Norton Healthcare. Your tasks include, but are not limited to the following for your assigned area: Cleaning and disinfecting a variety of hospital areas, rooms, restrooms, etc., along with office suites in the medical office buildings. Performs various housekeeping duties to maintain the hospital in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrates knowledge, skills and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This includes children (newborn to 17 yrs), adults, and/or elderly. Senior Environmental Associate Under minimal supervision, the Sr. Environmental Assoc provides department and staff support in accordance with department policy and job duties. Incumbent will participate in patient service activities, as well as provide support and direction to ESD associates. This role will prioritize activities, respond to concerns, mentor new associates, advise existing associates, and coordinate staff to maximize productivity during each shift. The incumbent will delegate tasks and follow up on requests and concerns that arise during the shift. The Sr. Environmental Assoc will provide feedback to leadership on annual performance appraisals, coachings, and corrective action for staff members. The incumbent will facilitate communication, empowerment, ownership, staff development and other strategies to bring about enhanced employee involvement, job satisfaction and quality service. ESD Floor Tech As an Environmental Floor Care Technician, your job responsibilities and performance expectations are intended to reflect the high level of care and customer service provided by Norton Healthcare. You will maintain a variety of floor surfaces to meet Norton Healthcare Standards. This may include the daily maintenance of hard surface or carpeted floors, stripping and waxing, carpet extraction, various cleaning duties to maintain a clean aseptic environment throughout the hospitals, maintain cleanliness of equipment, follow all safety precautions and procedures, contributes to the efficient operation of the department.
