JOB SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, this position ensures that all Criminal Justice Advanced/Specialized and Equivalency of Training (EOT) Training courses are conducted in accordance with both FDLE and College policies; responsibilities include: managing day-to-day operations, supporting instructors, facilitators and students, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures; Preparing Advanced/Specialized and EOT Training course schedules, instructor assignments, advising students with FDLE courses and scheduling facilities, engaging in short and long-term planning, determining instructional materials and supplies revising curriculum as mandated changes occur. Support retention resources and other indicators of progress to assist students and faculty toward course and degree/certificate completion goals. Work closely with leadership to enhance the educational experience and promote a positive learning environment. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met. ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the employee must possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.
