Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health invites applications for the position of Housekeeper. Located in Norfolk Virginia, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is a leading community partner providing acute, residential, and Partial Hospitalization treatment for children and teens exhibiting behavioral and/or mental health concerns. The hospital is dedicated to providing high quality care to children, adolescents and their families. We provide quality care to children and adolescents in need, using quality, evidence based practice treatments. Founded in 1986, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is an 82-bed hospital facility accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).

Position Scope: Maintains the facility in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications:

Must possess knowledge of and ability to use cleaning equipment and compounds; ability to operate all cleaning equipment; to follow written and oral instructions. An individual must be able to perform each Essential Function of the job satisfactorily. Education:

High school graduate, GED or equivalent experience.

Experience:

One or more year's housekeeping experience preferred.

Requirements:

Requires physical exertion and flexibility to stoop, climb, lift weight in excess of 30lbs.; good hearing and vision; mobility and dexterity in both arms to operate tools; exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.
