Alternative Private Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that makes business flow.

YOUR IMPACT

The Loan Quality Assurance team is seeking a professional to support product set up, amendments/updates, enrichment, and ad hoc projects within Loan Operations. The role entails collaborating with the business, tech, and other operational groups to manage entity creation and lifecycle changes within the syndicated and commercial loan space in our reference data systems.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL



  • Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the loan product lifecycle by interacting with Technology, Controllers, Credit, and Compliance in addition to internal Ops teams to work toward the shared goal of risk mitigation and data integrity.
  • Showcase your attention to detail by ensuring all bespoke attributes are accurately captured and reported.
  • Use your inquisitive mind set to identify bespoke nonstandard terms, logic issues, data gaps to recommend policy and procedure updates.
  • Grow with the team; develop a deeper understanding of complex transactions and work with our business partners to strengthen reference data systems


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal and external clients with differing levels of product experience.
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written communication and presentations skills
  • Fast learner with the ability to process large amounts of information to determine operational requirements and potential issues
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Prior experience with loan agreements/processing or in a data quality space
