KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Finance and Accounting to join our CFO organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a change leader to forward finance transformation, business strategy, and operationalizing change by delivering in-depth analysis and data-driven insights related to the company's strategic as well as operating planning activities
  • Serve as a trusted business advisor for your assigned practice leaders and finance leadership; analyze key performance indicators and develop a point of view to assist leadership in identifying risks which can facilitate a timely course correction
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision making, with the ability to simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points (tell the business story that supports the numbers)
  • Advance the financial strategy of the firm through pro-active analysis and actionable planning and forecasting; emphasis on the future (Fiscal year to go and three-year Medium Term Outlook), utilizing a forward-thinking lens for more predictive insights
  • Leverage experience and subject matter knowledge to work independently to drive vague or complex requests to meaningful completion; collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
  • Create an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart; act to identify and resolve issues which prevent the team from working effectively; develop new skills as the business and finance function transforms

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in accounting and finance; preferably within a professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results driven mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
