Quality and Repair Operator

All about the role:

In this role you will be reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor for Electrolux Group. You will be based in Anderson, SC and this role is onsite.The shift for this role will begin at 6am and end at 2:30 pm with some days requiring team member to stay until 3:30pm depending on production demands.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Inspect Doors brought to repair area; find the defect in the door
  • Determine whether doors are fixable or scrap
  • Repair any doors that can be repaired to quality specifications
  • Record all repairs and scrap on correct paperwork
  • Maintain buffer counts
  • Communicate defects caused by machine to Process Tech and Supervisor
  • Keep to the Quality Control Procedure
  • Communicate defects that can be prevented by team to the team as well as the supervisor
  • Keep in close contact with other repair operators
  • Relieve team members when needed

Qualifications Required:

  • Knowledge to recognize defects from other areas

  • Good communication skills with other areas on defects and with Team Members and Production Supervisor

  • Must be willing to cross train on all jobs in the area

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
  • Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
  • Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending
  • Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
