Position Overview

This is truly an extraordinary time to join the Lehigh Valley Health Network. LVHN is one of the nation's most advanced health networks, offering comprehensive care in 95 clinical specialties. We are the region's largest employer and the health care provider of choice for more people in the region.

This position is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania in Lehigh County. At our Cedar Crest location, there are a total of 21 physicians which include 4 advanced endoscopists, 2 transplant hepatologists, and 4 IBD specialists as well as 6 Physician Assistants and 2 CRNPs. The office is open Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p with no call coverage, nights, weekends, or holidays. Patient slot durations consist of 30 minutes per patient, 2 patients per hour. Services provided onsite include: manometry, breath tests, hemorrhoid banding, flexible sigmoidoscopy, hemoccult testing, and fibroscan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and imaging studies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications
  • Valid Physician Assistant license.
  • Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal diseases, treatments, and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
